Acalypha wilkesiana 'Ceylon' – Native to Fiji and nearby islands in the South Pacific, Acalypha adds a colorful, tropical feel to any landscape. This cultivar does well in partial shade or sun. It can also be grown in containers as houseplants. When planted outdoors, Acalypha does best in rich, fast-draining soil. When used as a houseplant, it likes to be moist, but not saturated. Can be propagated by stem cuttings at any time of year. Protect from frost and freezing temperatures.
