Aritolochia elegans (aka littoralis) calico flower
I love this plant. My wife, -less so, because its vigorous growth displaced a climbing rose she preferred. Its remarkable large, bizarre and blowsy "calico" flowers are shaped somewhat like upside down valentine hearts. I am intrigued by vegetative weirdness -plants that make folk scratch their head and wonder, and this flower has that effect.
