Beaucarnea recurvata' Ponytail Palm' - This plant fits its name well. You can put its many leaves into a ponytail. The trunk may develop some branches when mature. B. recurvata can reach heights of up to 30 feet tall outdoors, under the right tropical conditions. Ponytail can be used as an indoor plant also, and will stay small when grown in containers. "Ponytail Palm"
The article was not very informative. I could find most of that info via plant tags. "Ponytail Palm" is a common name used by customers who are not fluent in horticulture and who don't care that it isn't a Palm.

Misleading description
You do not seem to realize that Beaucarnea is in fact NOT a palm. Not even closely related.
